2007 www.brookdalecampground.com voted among the top PA Websites! We were honored that our campground website recently took 4th place among websites at the Penna. Campground Owners Convention. Normally, 4th place wouldn't be reportable news, but in this case it was. It seems that the top 4 websites were all tied for first place. It was disappointing that we didn't win, but the fact that we placed 4th out of 200 campgrounds is an exciting award. Our campground website webmaster is Robyn Chilson. She is a self-taught webmaster, and takes much time and pride in the website. That makes this award all the more special.
2007 Nominated for best Workamper Employer of the Year! We were honored and delighted to be nominated by Don & Sharon Musty as Workamper Employer of the Year for the second year in a row! It was an honor and privilege to work with Don and Sharon. They are top notch people who were also nominated by us, as Workampers of the year! Unfortunately, our nomination didn't win them the award, but they certainly deserved one! They are, without question two of the hardest working, friendliest, and customer focused Workampers we've ever had the pleasure of working with, and we didn't just find two good Workampers, we met two good friends!
2006 Best Guest Service in PA! Tim Chilson, owner and operator of Brookdale Family Campground, assisted a camping guest in need. The guest had just purchased a new, 32' Coachmen Class A motor home and had driven it to NW PA while on vacation. The owner became ill and was unable to safely drive their rig back home. Tim assisted the guest in getting their motor home back home by agreeing to make the more than 1200 mile journey to St. Petersburg Florida for them. His act of kindness was voted best Guest Service in Penna. by the PCOA (Penna. Campground Owner's Association)!

2006 Voted Best Campground In Crawford County! The Meadville Tribune Reader's choice Awards voted Brookdale Family Campground as their favorite in Crawford County! 2005 Best Event in PA! Civil War Re-enactment with the 150PVI Bucktails! This event was voted best event in Penna. by the PCOA (Penna. Campground Owner's Association)! It's back in 2007!
2004 One of the Best Events in PA! "Murder At The Four Deuces" Murder Mystery! It was voted second place as one of the best events in the state of PA for 2004 by the PCOA (Penna. Campground Owner's Association)!
2004 Brookdale Becomes a Best Holiday Trav-L-Park! Only campgrounds rated in the top 5% of campgrounds nationally can become a Best Holiday Trav-L-Park! So, when you see the Trav-L-Park Sign, you know you're staying at one of America's best campgrounds!
2003 Best event in Penna.! Our Water barrel battles get wet & wacky! This event was voted "best event" by the Penna. Campground Owners Association in 2003! Our campers get to play fireman for a day and have a water barrel battle with the East Mead Fire Company! It's fun for the campers and a fund raiser for the fire company! Brookdale has 50/50 raffles to help raise funds for the East Mead Volunteer Fire Company!

2001 Best Hat in PA! "Gone Fishing At Brookdale Family Campground" Our Bucket hat was the voted the best hat in Penna. by the PCOA. You can buy one at the Brookdale Campground Store!
Our Trailer Life Rating for 2008 is 8.5/9*/9! Seeing stars? When a campground receives a maximum 5 points rating on their restroom cleanliness, they receive a star next to their rating! We're rated in the top 10% of campgrounds nationally! Now there's an award we're very proud of being given! |
