Brookdale Family Campground WinsThe
Meadville Tribune Reader’s Choice Award!
Brookdale Family Campground wins the 2008 Reader’s Choice Award from the Meadville Tribune! According to owner Tim Chilson, “It’s an honor to be awarded the Meadville Tribune Reader’s Choice Award for 2008! Not only did we win the award, but the campground is celebrating its 30th anniversary of serving camping families this year, so it makes it even more special!” According to Chilson, the campground is rated in the top 5% of campgrounds nationally. “We have a page on our website: http://www.brookdalecampground.com/Awards.html that lists and explains the awards we’ve received. Each one is special to us, and to be nominated and to win the Readers Choice Awards in 2008 is a wonderful honor.” Brookdale Family Campground hosts 165 camp sites, 4 camping cabins, seven fishing ponds for catch and release fishing (no license required), a swimming pool, a creek for wading, a hiking trail, volleyball, basketball, soccer & ball field, horseshoe pits, paddle boats, mini golf (open to the public), planned activities, themed events, hay wagon rides, and more! Brookdale Family Campground is
an award winning campground and was nominated in 2007, 2006, and 2003 as
Workamper Employers of The Year, were 2006 Best Guest Service award winners from the Pennsylvania Campground
Owners Association (PCOA), were 2006 Readers Choice Award Winners from The
Meadville Tribune, were 2005 Best Event in PA winners from the PCOA, and
