Welcome to Brookdale Family Campground!NW PA's Camping & Family Fun Landing Zone!We have summer season Workamping, Workamper, or Work Camping opportunities for RV'ers in NW PA! No matter how you spell it, if you're looking for a family-oriented workamping (aka Work Camping) experience in NW PA at a top rated, award-winning campground, for the summer season, then we're looking for you! We need employees who are people-oriented, self-starters, kid and pet-friendly, and who can work independently. We currently have openings for the 2009 summer season. We're looking for Workampers in Housekeeping, Maintenance, & Store/Office Clerk positions. Housekeeping openings include cleaning restrooms, store, game room, and laundry facility. Checking restroom condition and restocking restroom supplies. Applicants must be either early risers or night owls who are able to work independently. Maintenance
duties includes flag raising & lowering, setting up, run, & tear
down of events, watering plants, general repairs, changing light bulbs,
painting, trimming trees, trash pick-up, restroom checks, cleaning pavilion,
regular pool maintenance, bagging ice, escorting campers to sites, stocking
firewood, and other misc. duties. Clerk Duties includes camper check-in & check-outs, taking phone reservations, taking messages, stocking shelves, bagging ice, cleaning store, checking restrooms, assisting with weekend events, dinners, etc. Couples work 20 hours per week for their campsite and then we pay an hourly rate for all extra hours worked. We also provide an electric allowance, propane, groceries, and camping supplies at cost. Our Workamper campsites are extra large and have phone and TV cable hook-ups available, but the service charges are at the Workamper's expense. They are located on a quiet cul-de-sac street in the park, so you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the park on your days off. There's lots to do in NW PA.
