July 31 BINGO, BINGO, BINGO Weekend:  We do have campsites of all kinds available!  Come join us for a Saturday filled with kids, family, & adult BINGO!!  

Aug. 7 Corn Roast Weekend:  We have campsites of all types available!  We roast 1200 ears of locally grown (by Miller's Amish Produce) sweet corn!  The sweetest part is, that it's free!  All you have to do is come join our husking party and then come help us eat all of this delicious corn!  Please come experience camping at Brookdale and our Corn Roast Event!

Aug. 14 Pirate's Treasure Weekend:  We do have campsites of all kinds available!  We have campsites of all types available for this weekend!  All Aboard!  The Brookdale Express is running!  We'll have sea worthy activities for scallywags of all ages!  We have pirate crafts, The Cap'n Kid Pirate Show, a treasure hunt, and more! 

August 21 Hillbilly Games Weekend!  We do have campsites of all kinds available!  We're panning for gold, then we’re having a hillbilly horseshoe  tournament, a watermelon seed spittin ' contest, & more!  The Crawford County Fair starts.

August 28 – Jungle Terry is back!  We do have campsites of all kinds available!  Get ready to get up

close and personal with spiders, snakes, alligators, turtles, and more!  It’s a hands-on animal show for kids of all ages!  Shhh, don't tell the kids, but it's an educational nature show!  All aboard!  The Brookdale Express will be running for all children under 48” tall!   

Please note:  We do have weekend and weekday cabin availability for the month of September (including Labor Day Weekend!) and the month of October!  Weekday cabin rentals may be available in August.  Please call us at 814-789-3251 and ask us about weekday cabin availability for the specific dates you're interested in camping!

Brookdale 500 Jr. – A Mini Auto Race for Kids & Teens!  Kids, bring your stock MatchboxŌ type car (max. weight 2 oz. to race in the Brookdale 500).  We 'll have family BINGO, and more!  Saturday we’ll have “Illusionist Cliff Hopkins” is here!  Sunday night is the Annual Lip Synch Contest!  Compete for a trophy!  You supply the CD and costume!  (* 3 night minimum)

+ September 11 – Discount & BINGO Weekend!  All of our cabins are available for this weekend!  We

have campsites of all types available! Save 10% on your camping this weekend!  We’ll have

+ September 18 – Haunted Pumpkin Fest! – All of our cabins are available for this weekend!  We have campsites of all types available!  We’ll carve pumpkins, and then enjoy roasted pumpkin 

seeds, pumpkin cake, and pumpkin ice cream and apple cider!  We'll have a daytime pumpkin themed 

campsite decorating contest!  Then later, tour our “Dungeon of Death” Haunted Event!  It’ll scare the 

spooks out of you!  (This event is scary and may not be suitable for young children.)  Check out our

+ * September 25 – Halloween Weekend!  Cabins 1-3 are available and we still have campsites of all kinds available!  Trick or Treating, day and night campsite decorating contests, costume contest (prizes for outstanding costumes of all ages), apple cider, donuts, and a Sunday morning free all you can eat pancake breakfast! ($3.00/person charge for visitor’s breakfast).  (* 2 night min. & Premium rate.)

+ Oct 2 – Just Desserts Weekend!  All of our cabins are available for this weekend!  We have campsites of all types available!  Save 10% off our already low fall camping rates!  Clubs of 10 or more units save 15%!  Bring your favorite dessert to share to our Brookdale version of a potluck, only it's just desserts!  We’ll supply the coffee and table service at a great, end of the season social gathering where you get your just desserts!  All aboard!  The Brookdale Express will be running for all children under 48” tall!  This is Franklin Applefestā Weekend!  

+ October 9 – Special Discount & Club Weekend.  All of our cabins are available for this weekend!  We have campsites of all types available!  Save 10%!  Clubs of 10 or more units save 15%!  Note: Fall Foliage is usually at its peak!  The Fall Saegertown Steam and Gas Engine Show is this weekend!

One reservation request form is required for each campsite you wish to reserve with the appropriate information for the family camping on that campsite.   You may not make multiple reservations in one 

family name.  Each family needs to provide their individual information.  Thank you!

Recommendations for making Reservations:

• We process our Reservation Request Forms multiple times a day during normal business hours.  However, if you wish to make your reservation right now, you may do so by calling our Reservations         Line:  814-789-3251 with a credit card ready to make your reservation.  Please either submit an online      reservation request or call us.  If you have submitted a form, please wait for us to call you.  Thank you. 

• To Make A Reservation Request Electronically: Please complete and submit the reservation request       form. When we receive your email with your reservation request, we'll call you to get your credit card    number, unless you provide a check number.  We charge your credit card for one night at the weekend rate  of your reservation at the time you make your reservation.  You may pay for your campsite by deposit by  cash (in person), personal check (PA residents, only), or with a debit card.  The balance requires payment     in full at the time of check-in.

• Cancellation Policy: For a full refund, cancellations must be received seven (7) days prior to the arrival  date, or your reservation can be moved to another weekend at no additional charge.  If you have a short-notice cancellation (i.e. less than seven days prior to your scheduled arrival date) on a regular rate weekend, you may request the reservation moved to another date at no additional charge, or you may request a rain check to camp some other regular rate (i.e. not holidays or special rate) weekend. 

• Rain Checks and Refunds: Are issued for bad weather or family emergencies at the discretion of management.  All rain checks are at the discretion of management.  Only one rain check may be redeemed  per visit and rain checks   may not be used in conjunction with other discounts, coupons, or free camping offers.

• Holiday Weekends: Must have one night's deposit.  Your credit card will be charged for one night at the rate for the holiday weekend at the time of taking your reservation. 

• Holiday Campsite Cancellations: For a full refund, cancellations must be made 7 days (or more) notice prior to your scheduled arrival date.  We will also move your holiday reservation cancellation for you to another date (pending availability) at no additional charge. 

• Holiday Short-Notice Cancellations: If the holiday reservation cancellation is short-notice, i.e. less than 7 (seven) days notice but with a minimum of 24 hours notice, we will move your reservation to any regular rate (i.e. non-holiday or non-special rate) weekend within this camping season or provide you a rain check.  No shows (cancellations not made with a minimum of 24 hours notice) are charged in full for the entire holiday weekend.  Our campsites are in high demand on Holiday Weekends.  We've generally turned many other customers away because you had the campsite reserved. 

• All Cabin Rentals require a credit card to make reservations. Pets are not allowed when camping          in cabins.  No Smoking, please.  Any damage to the cabins (including $100.00 cleaning fee for smoking) will be charged to your credit card at the current replacement costs including materials and labor.

• Cabin Cancellation Policy: For a full refund, cancellations must be received seven (7) days prior to the arrival  date, or your reservation can be moved to another weekend at no additional charge.  If you have a short-notice cancellation (i.e. less than seven days prior to your scheduled arrival date) on a regular rate weekend, you may request the reservation moved to another date at no additional charge, or you  may request a rain check to camp some other regular rate (i.e. not holidays or special rate) weekend. 

• Holiday Cabin Rental Cancellations: If you cancel with more than 7 days notice, we refund your money in full or will move your reservation to another weekend at no additional charge.  If you cancel your cabin reservation with less than 7 (seven) days notice, we do not move reservations nor do we provide rain checks.  People who fail to call and cancel (no shows) are charged in full for the entire holiday weekend.  Our cabins are in very high demand.  We've generally turned many other customers away because you had the facility reserved. 

• We accept reservations for a specific site but reserve the right to make substitutions.  Sometimes  there are problems or issues beyond our control.  We appreciate your cooperation if you are asked to be moved.  

• Check-ins are required during normal office/store operating hours (Store & Office hours are          posted on the left side of this page!).  We do not allow late-night check-ins after 11:00 (Quiet Hours) because it is discourteous to other campers.  No early check-ins (prior to 2:00 pm for campsites & 3:00 pm    for cabins) on Saturday, unless you pay for Friday night.  Check out Saturdays is at 1:00 for cabins and    2:00 for campsites.  

• To Mail the deposit of a check or money order made out to: Brookdale Family Campground at 25164    State Hwy 27, Meadville PA 16335.  Your deposit must be received at least one week in advance of            your reservation arrival date.  (We accept checks only from Pennsylvania residents).      

• Reservations for next season may be made this year on that weekend, before you leave.  If you'd     like to reserve the same campsite that you are on this year for the same weekend next year, you may do       so (this year) before you leave.  If you fail to make the reservation prior to leaving, that site is considered  "available" and may be reserved by anyone requesting it, the week after the holiday this year.

• Commercial video/photography is conducted here. You may be filmed or photographed which may be   used in advertising to promote the campground or campground events and activities.  Registering at our campground constitutes your consent for us to use any pictures or videos we deem appropriate without payment, inspection, or review.  If you want your likeness not used, it is your responsibility to remove  yourself from the situation being photographed. 

• We reserve the right to refuse service.  Those publicly drunk, disobeying the rules, or creating a   disturbance with other campers will be removed from the park without refund.

Suggestions to help you if we're full:

Need a campsite and we were full?  We are very sorry if we couldn't provide you the campsite that you requested.  Did you request to be placed on our waiting list?  

Want to be on our waiting list?  If we didn't have what you wanted available, please ask to be placed on our waiting list!  We cannot promise that you will get a site.  It is only for last minute cancellations, but we do call   and ask in order (first requested, first filled per RV Size and Type, of course).   

We recommend you look at one of our fellow Penna. Campground Owner Parks in Western PA.  You can   find those campgrounds online at: www.pacamping.com!  Again, we're sorry we couldn't serve you, but we   thank you for camping with us, and we hope that you'll make an advance reservation for a future weekend!     Thank you!
